It is time for the FBC congregation to nominate members to the Deacon Nominating Committee.  Nominations due by Thursday, September 30.  Details can be read here:  DEACON NOMINATIONS

Soup Kitchen Team

The FBC Soup Kitchen Team cooks and serves lunch at Frankfort's Access Shelter once per month and is in need of additional volunteers.  If you could help with this important ministry, please contact Adell Kemper or fill out the SERVANT SIGN-UP form.

Churchwide Event

Last year's Great Fall Clue Caper was so loved by the children, we're expanding this year's event to include adults.  Please mark your calendar for Sunday, October 24, 5:00 - 7:00 and be watching for more details.

CBFKY's Autumn Celebration

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's Autumn Celebration, "Seeking Justice as We Follow Christ Together," will be held at Third Baptist Church of Owensboro, Kentucky, on October 8-9.  Register here:  CBF KY

INK CARTRIDGE RETURN

If you have old ink cartridges to dispose of, please bring them to FBC rather than throwing them in the trash.  We will recycle them in a environmentally friendly way.  A container is located next to the soda machine outside of Fellowship Hall.

ITEMS AVAILABLE

Staff have recently cleaned out an unused church room.  Items not needed have been place in the Nexus room (across from Fellowship Hall).  We encourage members to stop by the Nexus room as you come or go on Sundays in September.  If you have need of any of the items, they are free for you to take.

CLOTHES CLOSET

The Clothes Closet is physically closed to patrons until the COVID situation improves, however, the Closet is still serving all it can.  If you or a person you know is in need of clothing, please call the church office at 502.227.4528.  After completing a few simple questions, volunteers will pull items from the Closet and set up a pickup time.

Servant Sign-Ups

FBC is seeking members to serve in specific ways as we strive to build beloved community.  We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can contribute to working for God and the church this year.  Please sign up here: SERVANT SIGN-UP

BENEVOLENCE

FBC includes space in our budget for community benevolence needs every year.  If you or someone you know needs financial help, please contact Michelle Carroll, Associate Pastor of Missions.

MASK REMINDER

At this time, FBC asks all individuals to wear a mask while in the building.
