Welcome to FBC's Youth Ministry!
We love and value our youth, 6th - 12th graders, and their walks with Christ here at First Baptist Church. We aim to offer opportunities for our youth to dive deeper into their relationship with Christ, from gathering together to discuss what’s going on in the world and how we can offer a loving response, reading Scripture and allowing Scripture to read us, and actively participating in what God is doing through our work and deeds. We value the opportunities for our youth to be the leaders and examples that God is molding them to be.
We currently offer both in person and virtual experiences for youth to connect, grow, and learn together.
In person gatherings
In person Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. All youth workers are fully vaccinated, masked, and have had background checks.
We share a virtual Sunday school option each week with families emailed in both a MP3 and PDF format. On Sunday evenings, 5:00 - 5:30 pm, youth and their families are invited to discuss our weekly Sunday school via Zoom.
On Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., we have youth group to read and reflect on a brief devotion followed by playing games such as Minecraft, Among Us, and Jackbox Party Pack. If you have a child, 6th - 12th grade, we’d be more than happy to provide you with links and any additional information you require.
Youth and families are invited to participate in a variety of outdoor activities throughout the summer. We would love for you to join us!
