Welcome to the First Baptist Student Ministry page!
The Student Ministry at FBC Frankfort is designed to be a place where youth can connect on both a personal and spiritual level. Our student ministry is for students in 6th to 12th grade. It is high-energy, challenging, and open to all students who seek a deeper relationship with God. Our goal is to mentor and help students grow into their Christian faith no matter where they are in their spiritual walk. We’re also committed to reaching out to the community and people around us through various service projects and mission trips throughout the year. Our goal is to see our students grow and to go out and share that love of Christ and that growth with the world.
We also offer different events at least twice a month, ranging from bowling, to movie marathons, and even snow-tubing. These events offer us the chance to bond and experience life together, which we consider to be a key part of being in Christian community. A calendar of these activities is available upon request.
We also offer the following on a weekly basis:
YOUTH WORSHIP: Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Wednesday evening is the Youth Worship Service. We come together with student-led worship through music, prayer, and any other creative way the students can engage with God. Following our worship services, we break up into small groups to discuss and reflect on the service itself.
YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL: Sundays, 9:45 - 10:30 am
Sunday School is a regular time for the students to meet in an age-appropriate setting to discuss scripture more in-depth. The students are challenged to think critically about their faith and what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century. Our conversations cover a variety of topics including church theology, various spiritual beliefs (baptism, communion, etc.), and even topical discussions on social media and digital technology.
