TROUBLE THE WATER:
A Christian Resource for the Work of Racial Justice
Edited by Michael-Ray Mathews, Marie Clare P. Onwubuariri, and Cody J. Sanders
WHEN and WHERE: This study group will meet for 6 – 8 weeks on Tuesdays at noon, beginning August 17. All discussions will be via Zoom except for the final meeting which will gather in person.
ABOUT THE BOOK: Trouble the Water is a resource for individuals and congregations endeavoring to take seriously the ever-increasing necessity of work toward racial justice while attending to the intersections of our identities and the intersecting nature of oppression, injustice, and violence. This book calls all of us to greater awareness and action in the ministry of facial justice.
REGISTRATION: Registration is not necessary; simply come to the first meeting. The Zoom link is on the Connections page of the website.
BOOK PURCHASE: Please order your own book directly. Amazon has them available for less than $20.
NOTE: If you have any trouble getting the Zoom link or if you have other questions regarding this study, please contact Rev. Amanda Standiford.
