Welcome to the First Baptist Student Ministry page!

The Student Ministry at FBC Frankfort is designed to be a place where youth have the opportunity to connect on a personal level as well as a spiritual one. Our student ministry is for students in 6th grade to 12th grade. It is high-energy, challenging, and open to all who seek a deeper relationship with God. Our goal is to mentor and help students grow into their Christian faith no matter where they are in their spiritual walk. We are also committed to reaching out to the community and people around us through various service projects and mission trips throughout the year. Our goal is to see our students grow and to go out and share that love of Christ and that growth with the world.
We offer different events at least once a month, and even more in the summer, ranging from bowling, to movie marathons, even skiing. These events offer us the chance to bond and experience life together, a key part of being in Christian community. A calendar of these activities is available upon request.

In addition to our many extra events we also have regularly scheduled classes and fellowship each week:

YOUTH WORSHIP:  Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00 pm

Wednesday evening is the Youth Worship Service. We come together with student led worship through music, prayer, and any other creative way the students can imagine to engage with God. Our bible study is challenging and deals with real life issues. We believe in meeting the students where they are spiritually and intellectually. Their questions and struggles guide our study.

YOUTH SOCIAL:  Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm

"Let the games begin!"  During our Youth Social hour, we simply enjoy playing games and spending time together.  The youth especially love challenging our parents, adults, and ministers to friendly competition in volleyball, four square, and video games.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  Sundays, 9:50-10:30 am

Sunday School is a regular time for the students to meet in an age-appropriate setting to discuss scripture more in-depth. The students are challenged to think critically about their faith and what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY:  Sundays, 5:00-6:00 pm

During this evening Bible Study time, our middle school students (6th-8th graders) meet to dig deeper into God's word and study the application of His word to their lives.

DINNER AND WORSHIP PRACTICE:  Sundays, 6:00-7:00 pm

An hour is set aside on Sunday evenings for all our youth to eat and fellowship together.  In addition, it's important to First Baptist for our youth to be integrated into worship services, not simply observers.  Our Worship Practice time allows young people to learn and practice skills to help be congregational leaders.

HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY:  Sundays, 7:00-8:00 pm

Following Dinner and Worship Practice, our high school students stay for an in-depth Bible Study time.  Their time together not only challenges them to learn what it means to be a Christian but also how to LIVE the life of a Christ Follower!
