SUNDAY MORNINGS

9:45 - 10:30 am Sunday School
Highly trained teachers in our children’s classes age 2 through 5th grade use Cokesbury's Deep Blue curriculum to interactively teach through the stories of the Bible in a three year cycle.

Infants are lovingly cared for by our paid nursery workers and volunteers. You may leave written instructions for their care with their teacher and will be given a security bracelet for picking up your child.

Check in and Pick Up Procedures for Sunday School:
Infants through Kindergarten age children may check-in in the nursery foyer on the first floor of the Moffat building. Older children should check in on the third floor of the Moffat building in the children's suite.

Jenny Luscher, Interim Associate Pastor of Children, will pick up children 1st through 5th grade on the 3rd floor of the Moffat building after Sunday School unless prior arrangements are made at check in.  With permission from the parents or guardiants, children in 3rd through 5th grade may be allowed to travel from Sunday School to the sanctuary by themselves.

The older children will be lead downstairs to pick up Preschoolers and Kindergarteners from Sunday School before traveling to the sanctuary for morning worship at 10:50.

Children 2 and under remain in the nursery with our paid workers through the end of morning worship.

10:50 – 11:50 am Worship
This is time for the whole family to gather in the sanctuary for intergenerational worship. Children help lead the processional to begin our service each week.  Older children also read scripture and lead in worship through children's choirs. After the children’s sermon, ages 3 through 3rd graders are dismissed for Godly Play children's worship.

4th and 5th graders and others who choose to stay in the full hour of worship are invited to take a clip board or books from the worship resource shelf in the vestibule of the sanctuary.  The clip boards contain children's bulletins related to the day's sermon text and various coloring pages.  There are also crayons and colored pencils available for their use.

Transition and Pick Up Procedures for Children's Worship:
Children will be dismissed from the sanctuary together after the children's sermon and escorted upstairs by their teachers.  Parents should pick up their children ages 3 through 3rd grade on the 3rd floor of the Moffat building following morning worship and their infant through 2 year olds in the nursery on the first floor of the Moffat building.
