GOD AND THE PANDEMIC:A Christian Reflection on the Coronavirus and Its Aftermath

By N.T. Wright

WHEN and WHERE:  This 3-week study group will meet on Tuesdays at noon, beginning July 28.  Rick White will facilitate the meetings via Zoom.

ABOUT THE BOOK:  The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted each of us. But why is this crisis happening and what should be our response as people of faith? Some declare the “End Time is Near,” while others proclaim “God is trying to tell us something through this virus and we had better repent.” Still others don’t know what to think.

Renowned biblical scholar and prolific author, N.T. Wright accepts the challenge of taking a biblical look at this issue and reflects on how Christians might see and respond to this deadly pandemic.  While Wright will not answer all our questions and we may question his interpretation of scripture and events; all who read God and the Pandemic will be challenged by his through scholarship and scriptural insights. He will examine various reactions to the virus and make us think.
