Cynthia is a mom of three children, ages 14, 16, and 19, and doggie Roo. She and her husband, Lee, have been married for 25 years. She was born in Kentucky, grew up in the NYC suburbs and spent her early married life in Alabama. She is a graduate of Samford University and Beeson Divinity School and served as campus minster at several colleges and universities in Alabama and Kentucky. More recently she has enjoyed working with children, youth, and adults in the area of spiritual formation in the local church.
Cynthia finds joy in facilitating small groups where people can discuss matters of life and faith. She also loves designing and leading retreats. She finds rest and new energy through her poetry and book clubs, drinking coffee with friends, and cooking.
Cynthia is excited about FBC Frankfort being a place where children learn from adults and adults learn from children.
